Improved Immune System Health
Often our digestive health is directly connected to our emotional health. Ever notice when you're feeling anxious, that you tend to physically tense up? We often unconsciously are tensing our abdominal muscles which restricts oxygen from reaching your immune system --thus, compromising our immune health. This can eventually show up as bloating, diarrhea, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, stomach pains/discomfort, and other GI concerns. More subtly, this can lead to feeling sick more easily (i.e., flu like symptoms, coughing, sneezing, fatigue, loss of energy). Addressing our GI health can drastically improve how our whole body functions. Often, this only takes 1-4 psychotherapy sessions that are focused on getting to know your body and what it needs more deeply. I like to create a space to speak freely about concerns relating to our gut health as these conversations are often shyed away from with health care providers. I welcome these conversations to help you feel more whole and comfortable in your body.
